I have not visited these boards much over the years, it's usually only when I am looking for support so today I thought I would post a few positives about my amazing AD. One incident that comes to mind was the day we had a phone call from her school. We were told a child in ADs class had punched her teacher in the face. In all the mayhem that followed AD was the person who instantly went up to the injured teacher, sat her down and comforted her until an adult arrived. The phone call was to tell us how impressed the school had been and ask if it was OK for this teacher to buy AD a small gift for AD as a way of thanks.
