Siblings that hate each other...

Two of mine can''t abide each other and one is particularly cruel to the other with physical and verbal assaults, accusations and lies. I can see the effect it is having on him - and it makes me very sad. They are siblings by adoption and only a school year apart. They could live separately in as much as I am divorced but is that the right thing to do? They are both early teens at the same school one girl and one boy.Any advice...?SGx

I would try talking with ex hub and divide their time up between you if possible but, without appreciating any of the complexity of your individual situation, trauma bonds are honestly best served by splitting them up.

I just wanted to say that this could be about my brother, sister and me. Only a year between each of us, parents divorced. We're birth siblings and not adopted. Could it not just be sibling rivalry? I agree with time apart though. I would have loved to have lived with my Dad without the other two. XX
