Hi Larsti, I love Futurelearn too. I started this course and I think it gives a good overview of the impact trauma has on the brain.

I've done week one - it won't let me do week 2 but I have it saved. Its a good overall view - so could be useful for prospective adopters too as its quick to do. I think its great that in Australia they are promoting this awareness and understanding in all professions working with children. Its a good link too for anyone who wants to give something to schools - much easier for them to do than read a book probably and they could even build a staff meeting round it without too much preparation

Hi Safia, I have done week 1 too and thought the same as you. I can access week 2 though. The navigational button "week 2" does not turn pink when you click on it, but the content for week 2 load below and I can access all of it. If that doesn't happen for you, I would contact their technical team

I started it too. Usually they give you the option of paying and having unlimited access to the course which might be worth it.

I have just completed the course for free. You only need to pay if you want to have access for a longer period of time or if you want to get a certificate. I have completed several of their courses free of charge.

Yes I have been known to run out of time but this one is nice and short so no problem completing it for free. I might want to save the info though so may pay. x
