The Forum has been around for many years, but our new partnership with Link Maker brings new features and hopefully lots of new voices!

The Forum remains free and open to all but as we are transitioning to a new platform, all forum users will need to re-register and create an Adoption UK community account in order to comment or post.

Adoption UK members will additionally be able to start chats with other verified adopters meaning you might find others facing similar challenges, looking for playdates with similar aged children, or living close-by.

Just wondering what you consider to be "improved" about the new forum? Apart from the connection to Link Maker which is no doubt helpful for prospective (and possibly new?) adoptsrs? Personally I cannot see a single improvement and no one else has mentioned any either

I have read the guide and have a question. I have registered as a Public Forum User. I note that you have to be confirmed by agency if adopter, but also note there is a mention of AUK membership number. Does this mean that you don't need confirmation from agency if you are an AUK member only?
