Oh Muma47, I am sorry. I was wondering whether he had got to college as this morning I took my birdboy to his 'alternative curriculum' project at a nearby college this morning - his very first day, and had wondered if I would even get him there!! So hope your lad at least gets to his first day (if he does have problema though, at the very least the professionals involved with him now will have to admit that his difficulties are very deeprooted, and most certainly NOT down to you).Will his key worker let you know what happens? Well he has enrolled...I can breathe easy until next Monday when term starts for realBirdlady, I do hope Birdboy likes his new project I find it so fraustrating that he can't see the oppertunity he has, it really is this or nothing

Great news mum.47 - one step at a time, at least he has enrolled (and knows that you and his key worker make a good tag team at these important times!).Birdboy txt me this morning to tell me when the day finishes, so sounds like he is going to be there all day, which is a start! He was determined not to go to the project at this part of the college ... but when I pointed out that this means he will have a bus pass to the nearby shopping complex all of a sudden he stopped saying he wanted to go to the more local campus!! anything which helps him go eh?!Fingers crossed now for next Monday for you, our boys certainly push us to the limit don't they, bless them.Kind regards, birdlady x
