Russia's ban on intercountry adoption!

nessa 76 April 22, 2017 03:45
Russia has banned adoption in places were same sex marriage is allowed. How backwards in Russia they are, here's a brief note about the ban http://internationaladoptionguide.co.uk/from-which-countries-is-it-possible-to-adopt-from/criteria-for-adoption-from-russia/ What are your thoughts on this?

They closed in the first place because of children being murdered by their adopters and the boy sent back. I do not think there is any EE country allowing adoption by same sex couples. Compaired with even more backwards countries at least in Russia woman have freedom, are allowed out of the house without chaperone, can wear tshirts, study whatever they like and choose their own husbands, lol

I thought the ban was just because of countries that allow same sex marriage. I can understand banning because of the children being killed. Since you put it that away about Russia, guess they're not as backward as other countries after all.

I have noticed that Eastern Europe don't allow same sex couples/marriage to Adopt. I wonder if the same applies to transgenders? nessa76

Considering the LGBT community is being targeted, kidnapped and tortured in Chechnya, it's hardly surprising they don't recognise same sex marriage.

I agree, crazy how other countries have such a narrow mind about the LGBT community. Glad I don't live there, maybe in time they'll be open minded like the rest of us lol
