rock band vs guitar hero world tour

Do any of you own either of these games or have any idea which is best?looking at reviews it seems the guitar hero has the best song lists and you can create more characters. Its also wireless but you need a controller for each instrument.Wheras the rock band is not wireless but you dont need a controller for each piece of equipment and its a lot, lot cheaper.I dont know which to get!Oh and do you think its wise getting one soon for christmas or should I wait til nearer with the risk of not getting one????

Not done Rock Band but I LOVE Guitar Hero! Admittedly, I only play with friends if they have a guitar too (we only own one guitar in other words), so if this is for your child, it might be worth finding out if any of their mates have the guitar too, as they can just bring them round (with their controller).I am exceptionally good at 'Knights of Cydonia' by Muse....In fact, The Fella got Guitar Hero out last night, as stress relief (but I was long in bed by then).Enjoy!
