This was repeated as a podcast this week from This American Life : https://www.thisamericanlife.org/317/unconditional-love/act-one-4 The subject is the adoption and subsequent attachment disorder experienced by the parents of a Romanian Orphan. It is one of the most moving and in the end uplifting things I have heard in the world of adoption. The second part covers the trauma felt by the parents of a severely Autistic child and is a worthwhile listen. Every now and again TAL comes up with a landmark piece of reporting and this is one of them and I would highly recommend having a listen.
