Matching Certificate

Hi As so many are going through intro''s at the moment, I thought I would ask....... when did you get the matching cert??? and were you able to start adoption leave without it?? We go to matching panel on 3rd sept for a 6 month baby, intros could be starting that day too !! I have some annual leave to take but i want to start AL on the 7th ..... Cant wait to add our intro posts ! Fran

i got ours before intros started but forewarned work adn they were ok with that

We still haven't had ours for DH! But luckily after an initial hiccup his employers were okay aboput adoption/paternity leave being taken.

Hi congratulations! Wow 6 months is so young! We were in same situation, intros starting same day as panel. My employer did require matching cert to start adoption leave, so social workers gave me a copy about a week before panel, as i was leaving work the week before panel to get things ready.
