Adopting from Bulgaria

We are considering this and wondered if anyone had recently brought a child home? Can you adopt 2 children at once? Would anyone be willing to share an idea of costs please?

I don't have any information about adopting from Bulgaria but just wanted to say that my husband is an immigration solicitor and he had a client who adopted from overseas - from her own country of origin - in North Africa - and she was unable to bring the child into the country - she was still trying when the child was 4 years old (adopted as a baby) and she had left her with a foster carer in country of origin. You need to check out this aspect too - perhaps ring the Home Office. Bulgaria I think is in the EU? So hopefully will be on the list of approved countries but do check as it depends I think on their internal procedures

That's no problem Safia, Bulgaria is in the EU. Maybe things change after brexit? ;-) Why is that onion flying? It should be on the same line! Some more work to be done aduk.

I think the onion is winking rather than smiling! Good to know re Bulgaria - Brexit shouldn't affect things (yet!) and then I think only if their internal adoption procedures change
