News stories that disappear before they reach the end. Like the guy in Norway (was it?) who was stuck in his car in a snowdrift for about a fortnight. Never did get to find out how it happened and how he survived.

He did survive, and I have no idea how she found this out but my mum immediately put candles and matches in everyone's glove box because apparently he lit candles, raising the temp in the car by 2 degrees, which was enough to melt snow to drink and to prevent hypothermia!

Charity bags being posted through the door. And the man who knocked at my door wearing an Anglia doors and windows badge who insisted that he wasn't seeking anything. Merely canvassing my view n whether I wanted a free estimate. My response was the same!!
