You sound peed off and desperate xAnswer is I don't know. Not sure what a child development centre is. Here we have camhs and comm paeds but they work together to reach a diagnosis involving salt and OT as part of the process. My daughter has just been diagnosed via a panel, she's 7.

Not sure about all cities but most do. Your GP or school nurse should be able to tell you if there is one in your area.I attend one with my 9 year old son, they have recently given him a ADHD diagnosis. He also has play therapy there.It's free

I don't think all cities do. My area has an 'assesment unit' for pre school children, but depending on your route you may just do CAMHS or paediatrician etc.. Its all very confusing really! Try visiting your GP ans asking for a Paediatrician and CAMHS referal for starters. Also contact your local post adoption support for more advice.

I believe it's linked to a hospital - GPs can refer through the NHS and I presume SS too.Our LO had an assessment through them when she was about 18 months and they co-ordinated phyio, OT, SALT, portage etcI've no idea if they are just for younger children - sorry.MMx

ds2 was under child development from 4 months till 16 although when at secondery ( special) school they did run a clinic there as many of the youngsters were under them.Not sure if all cities have them we are a small town and have one.Yes they are free.Ds2 was constantly assessed and diagnosed with help of other outside hospitals as the problems got worse as he got older.He was already in the system when he arrived.dd was refereed by HV and DR to the center when she was 4.Can't remeber the age she was discharged but CAMHS took over her care.
