Hi there, just wondering if anyone can recommend any good attachment friendly, inclusive primary schools with a robust SEND offering in the Gloucestershire, Worcestershire or Herefordshire area. Our son is 7 years old with a recent EHCP and a diagnosis of development trauma, FASD and possible SPD (just getting updated assessment!). Has all the usual behaviours associated with these and will become very dysregulated when highly anxious. Has struggled in current mainstream school for the past year and a half and despite best efforts it's clear there is a lack of SEND experience in supporting children with these needs (typical village school in nice area with limited knowledge and resources). Professionals supporting him all feel that mainstream is still the right choice for him but with much more robust SEND support. Any information would be really helpful as we are about to start our search. Thanks x PS I have also posted in the Education Forum also so you might see this post twice!
