Opportunity to take part in research on the Adoption of Siblings

A trainee in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy at Birkbeck College is conducting research on the adoption of siblings.The study is entitled: “The experience of adopting siblings: challenges and satisfactions of adopting a sibling pair.”As part of the research the trainee is interviewing couples who have been living with their adopted children for about 6/7 years, in order to gain an understanding of their views and experiences around the adoption of siblings.If you are interested in taking part in the research and would like to know more about what it would involve please contact Olivia at: ---- EMAIL REDACTED ----Best wishesOnline Community TeamAdoption UK

Nice to see some research looking at things when placement is well established. 10 yrs in we probably don't qualify still!

just sibling pairs or would they consider trio and 8 plus years of placement?

My partner and I would be very intersted to see the study, as we go to Panel, with plans to adopt a sister and brother, in December.Will the study be shared with / by Adoption UK?CheersKrystalTipps
