LGBT couples experience of post-adoption

Online Community Team August 25, 2009 17:10
A counsellor is researching the subject of LGBT couples'' experience of the post-adoption process and looking for participants to take part.Ciro Cambuli is a qualified Integrative Counsellor/Psychotherapist, working in London, doing an MA in counselling and psychotherapy at the School of Psychology, University of East London. He would like to find out what the experience of the adoption process was like for LGBT couples, and more importantly what was their experience of the after-care following adoption. There is a growing number of gay and lesbian couples who are choosing to become parents and adopt in the UK. The finding of this research may present an indication of the key issues that LGBT parents encounter following adoption/fostering, and in turn it may help counsellors or other professionals working with LGBT parents. If you would like to take part, please contact him on Ciro at ---- EMAIL REDACTED ----
