It's true in most cases is attachment not the biggest problem after the first couple of years.

You probably know the old joke, Q. How many psychiatrists does it take to change a light bulb? A. One, but first the light bulb must want to be changed. Q. How many psychotherapists does it take to change a light bub? A. Two. (One to do it and one to share the experience.) Q. How many psychologists does it take to change a light bub? A. None. (Psychologists accept light bulbs just the way they are.) Now, can someone tell me, how many adoption social workers does it take to change a light bulb?

Chopsticks The answer is none...5 would assess it and agree it needed changing, but no-one would be available to change it!

Love the joke! Any numbers of SWs would look at the light bulb and think it probably needs changing but that it would probably do it itself given time

For the number of SW at least four as they would change regularly, whilst the light bulb was going through supportive therapy to see if they could develop enough skills to relight themselves.

I don't think they have any budget for light bulbs! Anyway they don't believe there is a problem with the lightbulb. Looks ok to them. Stop listening to people who say there is anything wrong with it!

None - the lightbulb seems fine, it must be a faulty socket....

And there’s no electricity anyway so no point in trying to change the bulb

There's a nine-month waiting list for a social worker to assess whether the lightbulb needs changing and then apply to the ASF to pay for someone else to do it.
