Eight years in with as1 and six years in with as2 as1 has always struggled with letting us be in charge as he had a string of birth siblings to look after when in birth family so has a need to be in control. as2 has really struggled with emotional control over the years , dislikes being "bossed around" by as1, and also very jealousy of him. They have been getting on much better together lately, but we knew Christmas would be a big test of that. AND SUCCESS - this year was the first when we got through the entire Christmas and Boxing Day meal at home/ meal with relatives/ etc without a single meltdown or flare- up from as2 , and as1 even managed to avoid getting embroiled in arguing with as2 . Lovely peaceful Christmas, both boys have come on so much, we are really proud of them. Now for New Year ( a big thing in Scotland) ..................
