This means a massive loss of all the old data which is on there and to which adopters may wish to refer. Where has the data gone? I can't believe that AUK would want to lose such a valuable resource.

In case you've missed it: it's just made a comeback! See http://www.adoptionuk.org/node/15629 - there's a button for "archive" at top of screen now. There's also a thread giving more details of planned improvements... on: http://www.adoptionuk.org/forum-topic/archive-content-now-available.
