Teens, Turmoil and Transitions – Building resilience in the teenage years. Date: Friday 11 March 2016 Duration: 9.30am to 4.45pm (registration from 8.45am) Cost Details: Members £84 Non-members £120 All prices include lunch, refreshments, delegate pack and VAT at 20% Location: Stirling, Scotland Speakers: Dr Matt Woolgar, Roger catchpole and Prof Katherine Weare Contact: ---- EMAIL REDACTED ---- The theme of the training is mental well-being, focusing on young adopted and looked after adolescents. The three speakers will offer parents and carers an empathically delivered picture of issues faced by many young adoptees. The day will address topics including support and interventions, at that time of transition to school, collage or employment and moving away from home. These times may bring anxieties for parents around issues like self-harm or self-medication and other concerns that fill these turbulent years for many families.
