The three speakers will offer parents and carers an empathically delivered picture of issues faced by many young adoptees. The day will address topics including support and interventions, at that time of transition to school, collage or employment and moving away from home. These times may bring anxieties for parents around issues like self-harm or self-medication and other concerns that fill these turbulent years for many families.
