We are fairly new here having (same sex male couple), panel approved in March and now in the thick of family finding.
We have had a few potential matches presented, one EPP which was progressed but the case got too complex to remain EPP (little boy).
We are seeking other LGBT+ people’s experience with placements of the opposite sex.
We had always pictured parenting a boy but our possible matches seem to be little girls. We are starting to think if fate exists where due to welcome some female influence into our lives.
We have today been presented with what seems to be the perfect little girl and a fairly clean cut case with few red flags to navigate like our previous match. Our only obstacle is we know nothing about what girls like and how we might navigate development, girls problems etc although I’m sure we would quickly learn!
Anyone have any experiences to share ?
