Ours called us mummy xxxxx and daddy xxxxxxx. After intros he just started calling us mummy and daddy. He was 5.

We are Mummy and Mama. Our LO was just 1 and so took to it fine. He did call my partner daddy for the first year which was funny but all of a sudden stopped and now it's Mummy.

Went to a pre-adoption course this week and one of the people who came to speak to us about their adoption experience says they are called Daddy and Dad. This is mine and my partner's thinking too for later on in the process.

Our son's social worker and foster carer had both told him that he was going to have two daddies - even though our book and DVD etc all said Dad and Daddy. We tried to sort it out but he was far too excited to change what he'd already learnt. He calls us both Daddy now and it actually doesn't seem to be an issue.

Our son calls us Daddy & Papa, works well, we spent HOURS trying to work our different names that had connection, it came to a book we liked 'Daddy, Papa and Me' ... we loved it so went with that.
