Thanks BermudaBlue, can you say what's the context of this letter - is it to all foster carers, or just some particular ones? I was sceptical when first opening it, but the content corresponds with other things in the media such as 'Virtual School Heads', so it seems genuine.

I got an email letter from the Fostering Network ( we are members) with a link to it - it's to all Foster Carers in England. Apparently there is more explanation about the letter and some downloadable information about some of the subjects mentioned in it on the DfE (Department for Education) website.Mr Blue recently wrote to our MP about a couple of issues, and she passed his letter to Edward Timpson, who replied with a very comprehensive letter. I think he means business...BB
