referral to FAS specialist

Received a letter today (copied in to letter to GP) saying Dash meets all the criteria to be referred (ie certain other things have been ruled out) and he hopes to see Dash soon.I suppose its typical of Planet Adoption that I/we are happy about this.I really don''t WANT him to ''have'' FASD/FAE I notice on the letterhead it is a behavioural clinic (and the specialist is actually a psychiatrist which I hadn''t realised before).So hopefully help is on its way

Sad that this is considered to be a real possibility, but great that you are a little nearer to that greater understanding that can really help.
