We hear a lot about local authority adoption teams and adoption agencies - through these forums, on social media and from calls to our Helpline. To drive positive change in the sector we have created this board for you to tell us your experiences in detail. Your stories are invaluable for us because they help us make changes in the sector through our influencing and campaigning work. In particular, at the moment we are working on a piece of work that we hope will make a real difference to practice in the sector. We would like to hear from people who are currently going through the assessment process, or who have adopted within the last five years. While we would be interested to know if your experience was with a local authority or a voluntary agency, please don't feel you have to give the name of the agency in question...these stories will only be used on an anonymous basis.
