i've e-mailed too but i'm 7 years ini'd like to see a study of older adoptees to see how they feel about adoptiondoes anyone know of any research on that?suze x

Umm .. at 11 years in we'd think this was a more appropriate question for our DS than for us. Yes, adoption's been a blast for us, but the important question as far as we're concerned is what the positive effects have been for our DS. From his perspective.bizzy

I think that the study would be very hard for most families -age depending as many families have a unsettled time between 6/7-9years where identity becomes an issue and then again as teens..I agree with the others -we are seeing positives this last year -7 years from adopting..

Crikey I would refine the subject much of the positivity leaves the room for a few years when puberty hits. But good luck to this brave soul doing an MA , my BA just about did for me so congrats and keep it up.
