Any book recommendations?

Every so often, I buy yet-another book about strategies for dealing with traumatised adopted children. Most seemed aimed at families with young children. I'd really appreciate any reading recommendations for experienced adoptive parents with older children.

There’s one called teenagers and attachment - I think it was quite useful but it was a long time ago I read it. What I find with all these books is that they’re strong on explanations / understanding but not so helpful when it comes to what to do about it. Just found it - edited by Andrea Perry - it’s aimed at schools but I found it useful reading

Many thanks for these. I know the Andrea Perry one and bought it for AD's school (just wish they would take it in). Have added the Margot Sunderland to my reading list - it sounds very interesting. The Why Mummy Swears/ Drinks etc series looks great too! .... always hopeful for insights that will make a difference.

There are two Smart but Scattered books and one is about teenagers. While not about Trauma directly they are about behaviour strategies that help traumatised kids cope with everyday life. Many folks on these boards have recommended these books,
