Fostering and Adoption forum

I would like to recommend this friendly forum, who support all people around Fostering and Adoption. They have a private section for all registered members, which is really useful. http://familiesat.forumhope.com/forum They are very friendly and welcoming. Sparklez x

I think this post seems rather opportunistic, when Adoption UK are in the first few days of launching a new forum. Competition is good, but this seems a bit cynical. In the interest of safety for potential users of the forum above, what process do people go through to become registered and access the private board?

I recognise some familiair names.... are that the same people 'I know' from adoptionuk forum? Looks like a format I can manage, lol.

Happy eater, I have been a member on auk for years, coming and going , supporting on every post I make - I recommended the forum as there was a place for recommendations. At least on the other forum everyone who posts are friendly and welcoming. Why do you dislike my recommendation so much? The private board clearly states terms of use and still advise members not to post too information. The format is clear and as some on here were upset over this format I recommended the above forum . Please only join if you want support. I must say I am unhappy my recommendation has been seen so negatively. I always post the forum and auk have never minded .

Pluto - there are some familiar people on the other forum, who use both. You would be very welcome to join. It is an easy format and is run by a foster career/adopter and can adapt to what the members want.

I'm sorry, my reply was overly harsh (especially since this is the place for suggestions). I was just feeling for the people trying to get this new forum off the ground at the moment. Thanks for the info, good to know.
