I was just reading your original post and wanted to say, from where I'm sitting, I'm pretty damn sure she loved you then and still does. If she didn't love you, she wouldn't have been pushing you away - I'm pretty sure she was afraid to lose you and so perversely was trying to make it happen, as out kids do. I'm so pleased to hear things are better than they were. Hopefully it's onwards an upwards. xxx

Thanks pingu and haven. thanks. we have had no more meltdowns since that day, just the usually teenage huffyness :). she now tells us she wants to be "one of lifes winners" well good for her! she has worked really hard at school and we were so proud at parents evening. its not all roses, by any stretch of the imagination, but life is now much easier for her, her brother and us. :)
