Starling picked this out at the library over the weekend as one of her 6 books. She probably liked the pictures. I didn't even look at it until I picked it up for bedtime story tonight. It's actually a really nice adoption themed book that hit just the right note with a six year old. Great for parents too as Nanny Goat and her adopted kid are shunned for being different and needing different things. Oh and everyone has an opinion on how Nanny Goat is raising him :) Made me laugh. And Nanny Goat is a single adopter :) By Jeanne Willis. I might have to look into picking up a copy that doesn't have to returned to the library...
