Automatic logout when the browser is closed

Hi all,The issue with remaining permanently logged in should now be resolved. Users will remain logged in to the site until they close their internet browser. Once they have closed their browser - either by shutting it down or by turning the computer off, they will be logged out of the site.This means that you will need to login to the site every time you come here which is much more secure.Best wishesJessOnline Team

Hooray - well done Jess. Just came to say had noticed I had to log in this evening and wondering if it was just me.Now a much happier forum user.

I was still logged in this morning after starting up my computer, having shut it down when I left work yesterday.So it seems the problems might be back?

Hi Fehrscaper,Please can you let me know which Internet browser you use, and which version and I'll ask the developers to look into this problem.As far as I'm aware the system is still logging people out when they close their browers, so I'm hoping this is a specific situation with your browser or settings.Best wishesJess

I use a Mac and Firefox 3.6.3.Until today I was being logged out when shutting down the browser (after the problem had been sorted). But the problem has just re-occurred today. I haven't changed any of my settings at all.
