Hi everyone I have not posted on here before but have been reading with interest. Just wanted to vent how I am finding things so incredibly difficult at the moment. I have two little ones who have been with us 2 years. Both very highly strung at times making me the same. Summer hols were ok but older child has started school she is fine it's little one who is 3 that is testing us to the limit. When her sister is home from school she goes hyper. When we pick sister up she pulls of my hand or starts saying "my leg hurts" embarrassing at times. I feel emotionally drained as looking after my mum who has broken her leg also. And started a new job also. Help, xx

I don't know if I have the answers. But, I wanted to offer some support. I think you might need to take a small step backwards and think about you. Can you arrange a bit more me-time, a regular treat for yourself, some special couple time? Can anyone else help with your mum? School runs can be pretty tough. Would a distraction help: snack, special toy, scooter? Congratulations on the new job! You must be pretty tired. I hope you can get a bit of relaxing time worked into your routine.

Thank you rem for your reply. I'm going out this sat for a drink I think you are right I will feel better after a break, and a laugh with friends. Thanks for taking the time to replyxx
