GRdgB I am 39, started the process when I was 37. Glad I did. I have just been matched with a 3 year old boy. Its a long process and you will need a good support network as a single adopter. I have had no bad feeling or negative comments about being a single gay adopter. If you feel the time is right for you then go for it. Just ensure you are stable in life and financially as its gonna cost you. Hope it goes well.

When it's right for you, it's right. We started the process last year, I was 29. We passed panel in Dec so if you have any questions about the process please ask. I totally agree with tootallme in that you need a good support network and a stable home life and if you feel ready then go for it. Good luck x
