Is this a private nursery or one attached to a school? If its a school based nursery then school should be doing something to help? What are your child's needs? Should you be applying for a statement. Without knowing a little more its hard to advise.

Your first port of call should be your Health Visitor. We got 1-1 support in place through them. They can do a CAF form, outlining your child's needs and the support they will need in Nursery.Lad came to us in May and by the time he started Nursery in Sept, the support was in place. The Health Visitor rushed through the form.We have a Pre School SEN team in out area, who were brilliant at advising the helper.

Hi We got 1:1 in a private nursery via the Inclusion Team. It doesn't matter if it's private or a school nursery at this age-it's all under the Early Years Provision. It's the local Early Years SEN team you need.
