Just wondered why the edit button has been removed? Maybe its just me, but I often mistake and then go back and correct....or add something to clarify later instead of posting a new post. Could understand if it was time limited to say an hour, but it seems to have gone entirely?

I always have to edit - and although it says at the top - you have 50 minutes left to edit (or whatever) there doesn't actually seem a time limit and I sometimes do it ages later if I re-read and find another mistake! Thank goodness its there!

That's strange - someone else had that recently I think - maybe Pluto? - maybe you need to contact AUK?

For me sometimes I can edit, sometimes not. Today I can :-) Maybe it has to do with the strength of the internet connection? Try again later....

But I only have one "box" showing - the delete button - the edit one has vanished. Interestingly I can go back and edit stuff I posted last week, but not stuff I've posted yesterday or today?

For me, like Pluto, usually the edit button is there immediately, but sometimes it can take about an hour to appear, and as you say Bop, when that happens there is just the delete button. Totally random, seems like a bug in the system.

I've not had it before - seems to be some posts I can edit, some I can't, but however it starts, it continues that way!!

I can't edit any on this thread, but did post on the DLA/blue badge thread earlier and was able to edit that one....very random??
