Hi was in Boots yesterday, first time months & months At the till there were CIN bears with "Adopt a Pudsey" cute bear for £10 Regardless of my connection to adoption I've never been a fan of adopt a panda etc but I'm I'm almost speechless that an organisation that supports adoption groups would have this tactless merchandise. I was online to complain and firstly it would appear it was last year's fundraising so I'm a bit late to the party ! & Secondly only 53% goes to CIN ! Is it just me on my high horse ? https://www.bbcchildreninneedshop.co.uk/products/adopt-puds

No, you are not alone, I wrote to a wildlife charity on the subject. It was worth protesting as they said it hadn't occurred to them about the significance of the terminology, and that they would review their approach at the next committee meeting. I quoted a comment by my youngest on the subject !
