Hi I am pleased to see this forum as my Grandchildren are now a significant part of my life I try to support my kids be the best parents they can be but as others have said their choice of partners is often problematic and most of my grandchildren do not live with both their parents It is also fascinating to see the 2 contradictory aspects of being an adoptive family : one is the huge hereditary likeness between the children and their parents but also the huge loyalty and love between cousins and with us as Grandparents who are not biologically connected
