Smurfs 2 warning

Might be put on elsewhere but the story involves smurfette finding her real father...It''s fine (chinzy horrid and sicky!) but watch out for that plot line for sensitive adoptive children

I endured smurfs 1. Storyline apart I have told my kids that wild horses wouldn't get me to watch smurfs 2.

We went Wednesday, I did cringe when I realised the plot, but mine never commented, and to be honest it made a change from mummy being the baddy as in most/ all princess story's x

Yes, I too have refused a request to see it this week. A friend asked me how the first film was and I remember saying I had seen worse, but that isn't saying much (Alvin and the Chipmunks for one - just the voices drive me insane......)

Just a separate warning. There is also a 'finding long lost brother/sister storyline as well which didn't go down to well with my LO especially with her current contact issues.

Milly, hush your mouth, those chipmunks are BRILLIANT!!!! We love a good fart joke in our house, especially when done in a squeaky voice. Never seen the Smurfs, never want to, luckily DS has written it off as a girls film! And we can't forgive the Smurfs for knocking the Minions out of the Happy Meals at the Golden Arches!
