Just wondered if anyone could suggest anything for chicken pox spots/scars. I did use calamine lotion when the spots first came out but it didn''t stop little man from picking at the scabs....now he has lots of scars. Or do I just have to wait for them to fade.............

Vitamin E oil is supposed to be good. You can buy capsules and open them and apply topically. Zinc is also good for the skin and healing.Rakil

I had chicken pox about 7 weeks ago, the worst area was my thighs, although I managed not to scratch that much I still have all the red marks on my thighs. The other areas affected have faded, this took about 4 weeks, but my thighs look like they will be spotty looking for quite some time. When the spots were dying lots of shea butter helped, but despite using all sorts of creams and ointments the spots haven't faded yet, think I just need to let nature take its course.

bicarb of soda in th ebath will ease the itch and make the spots less a target for itching.
