Asking for a friend. A grandmother has legal guardian ship for a daughter (who has died) and the child is going to a state boarding school in September- and is very excited about it. But the grandmother is still going to struggle with the fees. Is there any chance SSs will pay or help. What would be the best way forward to getting any financial help? SSs haven''t been much help so far..not even given help getting the child into a new school. I would love to be able to point the grandmother in the right direction. She is feeling very alone at the moment.
