My son and I have been enjoying the gamesIt''s great to see so many people all with different impairments on tvEspecially as many are married/ partnered with children. Are you watching it?

Our son, who says whatever he thinks and so can appear to be quite offensive, has been saying really positive things about these games. He was really impressed by the American archer using his foot. He even wanted to go and see it live, but I couldn't get tickets for the only day he had free.

It's the closing ceremony tonightA few friends of mine are in it! So will be watching carefullyPartridge got to go to one day and I think Its changed his perception of disabilities forever for the betterHe's been amazed at the times, distances etc achieved with people who are clearly impairedIts also been good seeing so many adults with disabilities who are with their other halves and children. Tonight there's a programme on bbc2 about a spinal injury victim who's designed and built a snazzy wheelchair. Married with kids. Really important that.
