When you start on your training, or even at the information sessions you attend, you might find others with your agency are also single, or if not your agency should have contact with others they can put you in touch with who have already been approved/matched by them who would be willing to chat and share experiences. Although other single adopters are a useful network don't exclude other adoptive families as support as they will also have shared and valuable experiences. Local support groups may also be useful as you can meet face to face with other local adopters. Not local to Bristol I'm afraid but hope you find some people close by to meet with.
