This is an answer to a frequently asked question on these boards, so well done for sorting it all out in such an organized format.Mods - Is there any chance something like this could be included in the new boards under a FAQ section?thanksl

Mary - I know you're taking a break but I just wanted to say how very useful your list of questions was. I used it as a starting point and made a few changes and went through it ALL with the fc, it was brilliant. So, thanks.

A fantastic list - what I found most helpful was being able to email this sort of list in advance to my kids fcs so that they had chance to think of the replies and email it back. It's always much harder to do face to face.

Donatella - I agree, we emailed it and then phoned the fc who just generally talked through each section answering the questions aas we went. That way everything was answered but it wasn't question, after question, after question.

what a really useful list. if, however, your ac has fc like ours they will be unable to answer most of them. our ad's foster care was so poor they were not even aware of what her favourite food was and potentially serious allergies were undetected.the only thing i would add- i would want to know exactly how many moves the child had, not just from different carers but including respite care when fc was on holiday.i am convinced the number of moves when very young is the source of our ad's difficulties.

Can I ask at what point do people suggest asking the FC's to fill this in as surely receiving this information during intros to effectively be able to put some of these into place.
