HiI hope the previous member doesn''t mind me stealing their question, but i was hoping any wheelchair users could give me some of their own experiences/preferences of carrying a child of about 2 - 3 years old. I have been reading about slings, reigns extra. Anything else out there I don''t know about would be very helpful. Thanks x

Hi yaI have had a seat belt fitted so that she could be secured on my lap at 2 yrs.Now she is older at 4, I have 2 chairs and she comes with me in different ways on themOn my all terrain chair with 6 wheels there's a one piece foot plate fitted that I've got widened. Pip stands between my knees.I secure her with a toddler strap, not that she needs it, but it's good for making her more secureOn my other chair, I've had a pad fitted to the left arm and she holds onto me and I hold her. Again I have a toddler strap. I found remap most helpful for making me bespoke things to carry pip safely. Finally, I'm looking into getting one of those bike trailers fitted for taking pip to school. It's up in the air because I'm worried that it will be too long to get round those darn bike rails at the end of foot paths...

If you are up north of the boarders you might need to have a toboggan or skidoo! My kids would love that!
