Divorce & adoption

Are there any other adopters out there who are single, but not by choice. My then husband had an affair when my adopted children were in primary school. He has since remarried & we now care for our children 50:50. Itâs working better for him than me...so complicated trying to move on when you have 3 adopted children to care for! Would love to talk to another adopter in the same dilemma.

I'm afraid that I don't have any advice on your situation as it is very different from my own experience. However, I hope that you find others similarly placed to offer support or guidance. Replying to this post mainly to get the spam off the Posted Today page in case anyone gets sucked in.

Hi Damselfly, I have found myself in the same situation. However I am caring for the children 100% of the time as they will not have anything to do with their father now. To them he is no better than their birth parents. It is extremely draining physically and emotionally. Swordfish
