Passports

Hi AllJust a quick question - our adopted son (whose been with us since 2003) requires a passport - do you need to include his previous surname on the form?Also, is it an easy process to get a passport for an adopted child without having to explain the ins and outs of family history to all and sundry?I look forward to hearing from anybody who can answer this question for me.Kind regardsFloppy06

No, you do not need to include previous name. Just apply as you would for any other child and use the long adoption certificate. Don't need to explain anything :-)BM x
