An invitation to a workshop – helping us make our website work for you

When: Thursday 7 February, from 2:00 - 4:30pmWhere: At Adoption UK’s headquarters in Banbury Are you: > exploring the idea of adoption as a possibility for your family?> in the middle of the process of becoming an approved adopter?> waiting to be matched with a child or children?> adoptive parents? Our web development project is coming on apace, and we hope to gather a group of our users and members of staff together to help us clarify how we organise and present the content of our website. We are looking for people who use the Adoption UK website - not techies or a website professionals. The workshop will be informal, interactive and fun but guided, and there will be home-made refreshments to keep the creativity flowing. If you are able to come to Banbury on the afternoon of the 7 February we would love to have your input. We will pay reasonable travel expenses. I've already replied to your email Kate, but just wanted to add that 2.00-4.30pm is probably going to be the worst possible time for those of us with school age children, impossible to travel and return in time for pick ups. Just a thought for future workshops.

I would have loved to comeBut - too short notice and timings no good whatsoever for adoptive parents of traumatised children of school age.I would be interested in future workshops if the above is managed in a more efficient way.Will reasonable expenses be paid for the specialist childcare cover that may be required for some of us to attend future meetings ?

I'll be there. I agree that a middle of the day meeting and more notice would have made it a lot easier to attend.
