Birth Child with Adopted Son

Hi, We have a bd how is approaching 16, we also have a adoptive son who 9. We have just been contacted by my sons old social workers saying he has a half brother 6 years younger, who is also now in care. They want us to consider further adoption ... Has anyone had similar stories, if so what was the result. Also can anyone give us constructive comments? Many thanks for your time. mrT

Not had that experience, although have children who are well spaced out......I'll rephrase that (!) our children are 23, 20,13 and 8 (only youngest adopted) If you look at the old AUK boards which are still online www.adoptionuk.org.uk and do a search for adopting siblings or somesuch you will find a few threads there I expect HTH Larsti
