I'm working on a story for Take a Break magazine for Mother's Day and would like to speak to now-adult children who were adopted and would like to say a big thank you to their adoptive mums for the life they've shared. (Dads will get a shout out too, but as it's Mother's Day we're focusing on the mother-daughter relationship) Do you know any women (any age) who have a strong bond with their mums and would like to say 'thanks for being my mum' ? They'd be paid a small fee for their time and can approve what is written before publication. The idea is to celebrate adoption as a means of creating a happy, lifelong family and we will of course give Adoption UK a mention on the page.
