should i be angry

amh August 5, 2013 18:14
I decided to change from the company I was using for ds2 care to a private individual (The one who has ds2has actually managed to do a sleep over with).Well the company phoned the transtional team to complain I was no longer using them.I thought it was our choice on how we used direct payments to fund the care as set out in ds2 assessments.I am the appointee and pay the company directly from the direct payments. So what right do they have to phone the transitional team with my decision. The company was recommended by adult mental health not even the county council.Am I being angry needlessly.

It sounds as if they haven't got a case - they shouldn't have phoned. But do you want to be bothered getting angry?

In the scheme of things it is petty but just get fed up with people attitude and just feel as though I have done something wrong when I am just getting better value for money.I then was asked by hi SW if I wanted more money for ds2 but when I know services are being cut surely it is better to eke at his money then take more from an overstretched service. the company had hiked their charges which I assumed some had been passed on to the workers but later found out their wages had been cut. They had the audacity to complain about me.
