Hi FluffyLemur - Have a look at familyecho.com Its free and is very easy to use. You can edit it just as you like, save, print out etc. Good luck.

Without wanting to sound flippant and stupidly low-tech, how about a roll of wall paper and some fat pens? A bit of Pritt and some stickers. A few photos and a narrative that you give ("Aunty Enid drank like a fish but bought you your first paddling pool" - or maybe not. "Aunty Enid - gave you baby bunny that you now cherish"- might be better, with photo of baby bunny, obviously); or your children can write their own memories, depending on their age. You can edit it till the cows come home as children don't seem to mind crossing out in the way that adults do.

This is what we did with both of our children. Allowed them to "experiment" with where people belong (Post-Its fantastic for this) and to get bits wrong and get bits right and start over if they wanted to (they didn't!). To this day, AS really finds it difficult to remember which uncle "belongs" to which parent. Allowed us to plop photos or draw memories onto the "master"copy. And then you can take a photo afterwards.

Other than the fact that permanent marker is really difficult to get off skin what could be the harm with trying this?

When our children were a bit older we did a "mind map" about how they were feeling that was also quite successful.

How old are your children?
